What you do:
· Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
· On very low heat in a small pan combine and melt water and jelly. When the glaze is ready, pour into small bowl for later.
· Line a baking sheet with foil and then place a cooking/cooling grid onto the foil lined sheet pan. Lay out as much bacon as you can onto the cooking grid without overlapping.
· Place the sheet pan into preheated oven for 10 minutes.
· Remove from oven and flip bacon with tongs. Using a bbq brush, glaze each piece of bacon and return the sheet pan to the oven.
· Repeat this process every 10 minutes, 5-7 times until bacon is done to your preference.
· After the last 10 minutes of cooking, remove the sheet pan from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes.
· Using tongs, remove the glorious candied bacon from the cooking grid to a plate. (leaving on the grid too long can make it too difficult to remove whole pieces of bacon)
· Sample 1-2 slices of bacon and try to stop there…or don’t!
· Use bacon on sandwiches, burgers, salads, or as a snack by itself!
